I qualified as a social worker in 1995 and have over twenty-five years experience of working with people with an acquired brain injury. I enjoy being involved with the development of complex packages of rehabilitation and support for individuals who have executive impairments and reduced levels of insight.
My research interests include parenting post ABI, managing complex packages of support in the community, family experience of ABI and mental capacity issues pertaining to ABI. I undertook a professional doctorate entitled Acquired Brain Injury: The lived experience of relatives and friends.
