I am a Brain Injury Case Manager, with over 25 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist working with Brain Injured people within the statutory and charitable sectors. My experience includes specialist neurological in-patient and community teams and clinical lead position at a London Headway. In addition, I have held clinical lead and clinical specialist (neurology) positions in the NHS. These positions have required significant supervisory and training responsibilities at both the team and individual levels and liaison with Case Managers.
I also have a MSc in neurological rehabilitation, a post graduate teaching qualification and have recently submitted my PhD thesis. These qualifications have required the knowledge, interpretation, presentation and justification of information relating to neurological rehabilitation and evidence-based practice. My interests centre on biopsychosocial rehabilitation and person-centred practice in ABI.
