Trina Hardiman qualified as an RGN in May 1989, having trained at Guy's Hospital in London.
She worked in a variety of general posts including Charge Nurse at a Residential Home for severe learning difficulties in young adults, Staff Nurse in a Rehabilitation and Long-stay Unit for Geriatrics and Duty Nurse/Team Leader on the specialist Head Injury Rehabilitation Unit at Ticehurst House Hospital.
Trina first started working as a Brain Injury Case Manager for Head First in June 1994, providing services to clients and their families.
In July 1995 Trina took a career break to raise her two children.
From November 1995 to October 1999 Trina was involved in a long-term project administering a brain injury/case management research project for Head First. This was the creation of a database, which categorised case management interventions with one particular family over a period of years.
From February 2000, when she had her third child, Trina undertook part-time nursing work, until May 2003 when she recommenced work for Head First as a Clinical Brain Injury Case Manager.
Trina is a practitioner member of BABICM, the Brain Injury Association of British Case Managers and a member of the Royal College of Nursing.
